Dvoracek Memorial Library
"Vitame Vas" - Welcome to the Dvoracek Memorial Library in Wilber Nebraska
Our library is in Wilber, Nebraska. Wilber is in the southeast corner of the state; about 45 miles southwest of Lincoln. Wilber (population 1,855) is the Czech Capital of the United States and the county seat of Saline County. Whether you are a resident checking out a book by your favorite author or a visitor wanting to check your email, we are here to help you. From board books for toddlers to biographies for adults, our collections cover a wide range of reading material for all ages and interests.
Genealogists may want to spend a day scanning newspapers on microfilm or copying information from our Nebraska Reference section. Public access computers and Wi-Fi connections are available to anyone; a library card is not required. The Czech Heritage Room is always open to visitors. You don’t have to be Czech to appreciate the books and displays in this mini museum.
Come on in and browse our facility to discover everything there is to offer.
Holly
is responsible for the daily operation of the library and for
maintaining a current library collection, computer & web
services, and all things library related.

and visitors. Her friendly smile and cheerful attitude will make
you glad you stopped in the library.
Our

better place. Whether it is creating crafts, organizing
shelves, running the coffee hour, the list goes on, their
